Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I just use my own address?
You can, but the address becomes public and someone must be there during business hours to accept legal papers. Using a registered agent keeps your address private and makes sure documents are received.
What are the requirements in Florida?
Florida requires a registered agent with a Florida street address (not a P.O. box) who is available to accept service of process at least from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 to 4 p.m. on business days. Our office is staffed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What does the annual fee include?
Acting as your registered agent at our Florida office, receiving service of process and state notices, same-day scanning and forwarding, and annual report reminders.
